Common questions

Tank or tankless — which is better?

Tankless units provide continuous hot water and save space, but cost more upfront and may need gas line upgrades. Tank units cost less to install. We'll recommend based on your household size and gas supply.

Can I replace my rental water heater with my own?

Usually yes. You'll need to contact your rental company about ending the agreement and any buy-out or removal terms. We can install the new unit and explain the process.

How long do water heaters last?

Tank water heaters typically last 10–15 years; tankless units and boilers often last 15–20 years with regular maintenance.
